Patient Handling

The TotaLift Patient Transfer Chair by WyEast Medical provides safe transfer of patients from bed to stretcher without heavy lifting, thus preventing injury in nursing staff and patients.

After the patient has been transferred to the TotaLift, the stretcher can be converted into a chair and the patient may be transported in a sitting or reclined position to an operating table, x-ray or imaging system etc.

The TotaLift includes mattress, safety straps, oxygen cylinder compartment and a IV pole. It can also be fitted with an adjustable footrest, side rails, adjustable headrest and other options.
The TotaLift is a equipped with a hydraulic system and does not require an electrical power source.

How it works

The TotaLift mattress is slides on to the patient's bed. The patient is then rolled onto the mattress.

Cranking the handle on the side of the TotaLift retrieves the patient onto the trolley.
