601-2-14 and AS32002.14 Appendix ZZ energy limits.
State
of the art ECT devices offering even higher
standards of clinical safety and efficacy. The
5000 series offers up to 5 channels of ECG and
EEG monitoring and 1 Optical Motion Sensor.
Digital electronics has had a significant impact
on ECT treatment. SpECTrum systems each have
2 microprocessor controllers and digital signal
processors to provide a greater volume and quality
of graphics and memory.
New
features include visual display screen continuously
showing all patient monitors, ECT impedance
and pulse characteristics. Energy and Charge
levels are shown simultaneously on screen. Patient's
ID and treatment details are displayed and recorded.
EEG Data Analysis provides real-time seizure
adequacy and stimulus level estimates.
Analogue
output for remote monitoring of up to 6 channels
and external recording of treatments. Treatment
files may be recorded on Personal Computer disks
and transmitted by e-mail or exported to common
software programs for analysis and research.
